Founded in 1969, King Richard III College is a private co-educational day school following the English National Curriculum, and providing a complete education from Reception to Year 13.
The school enjoys a privileged location overlooking the sea in the residential village of Portals Nous, close to the Puerto Portals Marina and just 10 minutes from Palma. The school roll averages 250 students, representing some 20 nationalities.
A caring atmosphere and strong discipline complement the high quality of the teaching and enhance the academic, cultural and physical development of the students.
Facilities include two science laboratories, ICT Centre, Art Studio, Library, Music and Drama Room, Sports Court and Dining Room.
The school has dual authorisation from British Inspectors and the Spanish Ministry of Education, and is a member of the National Association of British Schools in Spain. As an Examinations Centre for the University of Cambridge, students are prepared for IGCSE, AS and A Level examinations, in addition to Spanish studies through to university level.
