American International School, Dhaka

The American International School/Dhaka has a long, proud history of providing an excellent educational experience for a wide variety of learners. Since its inception in 1972 the school has grown with purpose and quality. Currently 750 students attend the school representing over 60 nationalities. As an American school, we anchor our curriculum on educational principles from the United States while bringing an international context to student learning. AIS/D is accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS) and the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) and is authorized to offer the International Baccalaureate (IB) PYP and Diploma programs.

A proud part of the strong reputation AIS/D holds is its interaction with the greater community. The school is considered to be the “hub” of activity in Dhaka.
