ESCOLA – English School Community of Luanda

The English School Community of Luanda, Angola, (ESCOLA) is an interdenominational, independent school catering for learners in the medium of English.

The formal curriculum, which is recognised internationally, will be offered from Pre Primary to Grade 8.

Provision will be made to foster and facilitate the extension of English as a second language at all levels.

ESCOLA is associated with the well-established ‘Colégio Português’ of Luanda and the learners will benefit from the cross-cultural exposure.

ESCOLA is an accredited member of the Independent Schools Association of Southern Africa and will follow the curriculum recommendations of that Association. The school joined the Association in 2004 and has been an Active Member ever since.

The Administrator, Principal and IT Officer, are independent members of ECIS – European Council of International Schools and we are currently working towards an application for membership as a school of the same association.
