ISB is an educational center and Boarding School that offers quality education, and a balanced and wide curriculum with an international outlook for the students from 1 to 18 years, aimed at providing students with knowledge, skills and attitudes that will enable them to develop their potential and make them prepared to meet the challenges of an ever-changing world.
All courses from Early Childhood through to Secondary are based on the English National Curriculum. All subjects except foreign languages are taught in English. After finishing Baccalaureate programme, students obtain International Diploma (IB) that allows them to enter universities worldwide.
ISB Boarding House hosts students from 5-18 years and offers them the pleasure of living and socializing in a friendly atmosphere. They stay at a beautiful “Art Nouveau” country mansion built in 1920 in the Natural Park of Garraf, overlooking beautiful landscapes, surrounded by vineyards and olive groves. The house offers a safe and quiet environment in which to live and socialize.
Annually ISB organizes Summer Camps for the children aged 2-16, that participate in different programmes created specifically for their age. The courses of International School of Barcelona include a wide programme of activities, which vary depending on the course chosen, giving special attention to learning and practicing English. The sessions include excursions and sports activities. Apart from English, ISB creates programmes aimed at reinforcing of Spanish and Chinese and special classes aimed at those students who wish to reinforce academic subjects.
