Emmanuelle Gira, Clinical Social Worker

I am a clinical social worker with a Master's degree from the University of Illinois. I have acquired extensive experience as a therapist in institutions both in the US and in France. I am now working in my private practice in Paris, France where I provide individual counseling services as well as group work for french and expats.

Sometimes we may feel overwhelmed by our lives, struggling to make sense of it all and to find the resources we need to get better. Living far away from our country can be an additional source of stress and may make us more vulnerable, leaving us with more isolation that we would at home and with more obstacles to overcome to get the support we need.

I am committed to offering you a quiet space where you can unload all the pressure that you may have been accumulating and take some time for yourself to figure things out. Together we can examine these challenges and help you find a path to a more fulfilling life. In fact, psychotherapy can be an opportunity to gain a better understanding of yourself, therefore empowering you to make true choices and widening your horizons.
