Our church was formed at Easter 2005 at Arçay, and originally came under the Chaplaincy of Poitou-Charentes, but it was decided this would make the Chaplaincy too large, so in May 2006 Reverend Geoffrey Colman was given permission by Bishop David to create a congregation at Arçay, as a new mission area under the supervision of the Archdeacon of France.
Our pastoral charge covers approximately a 40km radius. This includes Saumur in the north, Parthenay in the south, Sauvage in the east and Argenton Chateau in the west.
In May 2010 we moved to a new venue near Ranton to La Chapelle de la Notre Dame.
