de Rand

The non-profit association ’de Rand‘ was founded by decree with the goal of supporting the Dutch-speaking character of the Flemish periphery around Brussels. The Flemish Community, the province of Flemish-Brabant and the local social-cultural life are all structurally represented in the association‘s management bodies. 
Vzw ’de Rand‘ works for the nineteen municipalities of the Flemish periphery, with particular emphasis on the six municipalities which have a special linguistic status.
