English Ballet School

The ENGLISH BALLET SCHOOL (EBS) was founded by the principal Pauline Holden ARAD, RTS, ex professional dancer and an Associate of the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD), the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) and the International Dance Teachers Association (IDTA). The school offers a varied programme of classical ballet, national, jazz and show dance for children, teenagers, adults and professionals. All levels are catered for, beginners, intermediates and professional.

The EBS has a very international atmosphere, incorporating local Dutch children and the international community. The main language in the school is Dutch for the younger children and English for older students. The EBS has had a professional training course for teachers and performers since it opened and many ex students are now teaching as RAD, IDTA or ISTD qualified teachers in various parts of the world. Others have gone on to careers in dance, notation, Pilates or drama.
