Broken English was opened in May 1996 with the aim of presenting a range of gifts, foods, cards and wrapping paper one would expect to find in a typical UK gift shop.
Particular care has been given that all parts of UK have been represented for example: Linen from Ireland Paperweights from Wales, Bone China Mugs from England and Celtic Jewellery from Scotland.
