The American University of Rome

The American University of Rome is committed to excellence in education and the promotion of cross-cultural exchange. Founded in 1969, The American University of Rome is the oldest degree-granting American university in Rome. AUR is a coeducational, accredited university which offers undergraduate degrees in six disciplines and enrolls more than 550 students (Spring 2007).
