Canadian Women Association in Italy

The Canadian Women Association of Rome or L'Association des femmes canadiennes de Rome was designed to be a reference point for Canadian women living outside of Canada. The Association tries to help newly arrived women feel like they're part of a group and ease their transition into a new culture. The Rome Canadian Women's Association offers Canadian women a chance to meet and network with other Canadians through a newsletter, bi-weekly historical tours of Rome, cultural outings, and evening meals and events. The group is made up of many long-time residents of the city, as well as constant newcomers, who are always welcome. Both Francophone and English-speaking women participate. The group's events and activities are also geared to both professional women and those available for day-time outings.
